The Metal card costs $199/year for a premium subscription (includes physical metal card, 3% cashback, no FX fees, higher limits). Metal card orders are paused since 2 Jun 2026. Physical card replacement for Metal is $99. Metal subscription auto-renews; full refund available within 14 days of purchase.
Yes, but with limitations. Metal card users and Virtual card users in the United States can withdraw cash from ATMs. Virtual card users in other regions cannot. Metal has up to $1,200/month in free ATM withdrawals (then 2% fee). Virtual card ATM withdrawals incur a 2% fee. ATM operator surcharges may also apply.
