The Backpack Card is a Mastercard debit card connected directly to a Backpack Exchange account. It extends the Backpack account into everyday card payments, with funds managed through a dedicated Card sub-account.
The Card is designed so that users can fund the Card from their Backpack Exchange balance rather than manually withdrawing funds to a bank account first. The actual conversion and settlement mechanics depend on the asset and transaction.
No. The Card uses the Backpack Exchange account/sub-account structure. Backpack Wallet is a separate self-custodial product.
No. The Card is currently in private beta/early access. Backpack officially lists early access to the Card among the benefits associated with its Participant Program.
Backpack officially gives BP participants early access to new products, including the Card. Private-beta reporting also links Card access to BP staking/VIP status. However, Backpack has not publicly established the exact minimum Card qualification.
