System Integration & Commands

  • INSTALL:

npx @secretkeylabs/xverse-agent-wallet --install

Supported providers: Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Cline, Windsurf, OpenClaw, Hermes

  • The CLI wraps xverse-core directly — same library powering the Xverse browser extension and mobile app.
  • Output: JSON via --json flag. Built for pipelines, scripts, bots, and AI agent frameworks.
  • Vault: encrypted at rest with passphrase from environment variable, compatible with any secret manager.

Wallet Capabilities

  • PAY ON LIGHTNING (via Spark):

Create invoices, pay invoices, call MPP-enabled APIs — sub-second settlement, sub-cent fees.

Machine Payments Protocol (MPP): Agent calls API, gets HTTP 402, pays Lightning invoice via Spark, receives data — no human in loop.

Note: Lightning/Spark feature marked "Coming soon" on the homepage.

GENERAL QUESTIONS.

The CLI integrates with Claude Code via xverse-wallet agent, and with Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Cline, Windsurf, OpenClaw, and Hermes via xverse-wallet agent --agent. Any AI framework can consume the CLI's JSON output — LangChain, AutoGen, and custom agent frameworks all work since the wallet is command-line driven, not SDK-dependent. A separate Xverse API MCP server at mcp.secretkeylabs.io provides 54 read-only Bitcoin data tools for MCP-compatible clients requiring blockchain data (not transaction execution)

The agent wallet is self-custodial with vault encryption controlled by a passphrase from an environment variable. Humans control spending caps by: setting the environment variable passphrase, without it, the wallet cannot be decrypted or transact; funding only the amount the agent should have access to — the wallet holds only what is deposited; using hardware wallets (Ledger, Keystone) for cold storage treasury management — sweep profits to cold storage the agent cannot access. The CLI is headless with no built-in spending limits. control comes from limiting the wallet balance and managing the encryption passphrase.

The Xverse Agent Wallet CLI is free and open source. no setup fees, no subscription, no per-transaction fees. You pay only standard network fees when transacting onchain (Bitcoin mining fees, Lightning routing fees, Starknet gas). The separate Xverse API (for the MCP data server) has paid plans starting at $50/mo (Developer) with 10M credits, $424/mo (Pro) with 160M credits, and pay-as-you-go at $10 per 1M credits. Fiat on-ramps (MoonPay, Revolut, Banxa) may charge their own fees. There are no monthly fees, custody fees, or account minimums for the wallet itself.
