Card Lifecycle & Limits

  • SINGLE-USE VIRTUAL VISA CARDS:

Cards are prepaid from wallet balance. Each card has a fixed spend limit drawn from the wallet only when the card is actually used. Auto-closes after first charge. Unused funds return to wallet on card close. New migration to stablecoin-collateralized Visa cards with per-user USDC wallet.

  • PLAN LIMITS:

Free: $0/mo, 5 cards/month, $50 max/card, 1 shopping order (lifetime). Basic: $15/mo, 15 cards/month, $500 max/card, unlimited shopping. Pro: $100/mo, 50 cards/month, $1,000 max/card, unlimited shopping.

GENERAL QUESTIONS.

AgentCard is the most MCP-native agent card on the market — one command (agent-cards setup-mcp) registers all ~40 tools with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Cursor. It also works with any MCP-compatible client via stdio or HTTP transport at mcp.agentcard.sh/mcp. For platforms, the Companies product (agent-cards-admin) provides per-user OAuth tokens + REST API with sk_test_/sk_live_ keys. For completely custom integrations, the OpenAPI spec is at docs.agentcard.sh/api-reference/openapi.json. The buying agent runs fully server-side — no browser automation needed.

Spending is controlled at three levels: (1) Plan limits — Free ($50/card), Basic ($500/card), Pro ($1,000/card) — cap the maximum amount per individual card. (2) Card quotas — Free (5/month), Basic (15/month), Pro (50/month) — limit how many cards the agent can create. (3) Wallet funding — cards draw from a USDC wallet that the human funds via Apple Pay or Google Pay; the wallet balance is the ultimate spending ceiling. Card creation requires human payment approval via Stripe Checkout — agents can request cards but cannot fund them. Optional email approval gates add an additional layer for spending authorization. Single-use enforcement means each card closes after its first charge, containing the blast radius to the funded amount. Check get_plan or agent-cards plan to see exact usage against limits.

AgentCard uses pay-as-you-go pricing with three plans. Free: $0/month — 5 cards/month, $50 max/card, 1 lifetime shopping order. Basic: $15/month — 15 cards/month, $500 max/card, unlimited shopping orders. Pro: $100/month — 50 cards/month, $1,000 max/card, unlimited shopping orders. No setup fees, no per-card issuance fees, no transaction fees beyond the card's funded amount. Wallet funding via Apple Pay/Google Pay has no additional charges from AgentCard. Test mode is free and unlimited — sandbox cards cost nothing and don't count toward monthly usage. Upgrade or cancel any time via agent-cards plan upgrade/cancel.
