YES. Payers must use the Gate App (available on iOS and Android) to scan QR codes or make payments. No third-party wallets like MetaMask or Phantom are supported. The Gate App includes the Gate Web3 Wallet for DApp connectivity.

Crypto settlements occur at blockchain speed. For fiat settlements, merchants can request fiat withdrawals which are processed with same-day settlement. Gate Payout enables both crypto and fiat disbursements through a single API.

Gate Pay charges zero transaction fees. For fiat on/off-ramp, the platform uses real-time market rates with trading fees already included in the final conversion price — no additional fee is charged on top. Third-party network gas fees still apply for on-chain transactions.
