Payer Scan & Pay Details (Local QR Pay)

  • Open the Bybit App, tap More → Bybit Pay → QR Pay, then scan any supported local QR code.
  • Supported standards: VietQR (Vietnam), QRPh (Philippines), PIX (Brazil), MercadoPago (Argentina), Idram (Armenia), Yape (Bolivia & Peru), MoneyBadger (South Africa).

How to Pay

  • Download the Bybit App, create an account, and complete KYC (identity verification).
  • Transfer crypto to your Funding Account: USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, BNB, PYUSD, USDE, and more.
  • Tap More → Bybit Pay → QR Pay, point your camera at the merchant's QR code.
  • The app auto-detects the QR standard, converts your crypto to local fiat at live rates, and displays the amount for confirmation.
  • Confirm payment — funds arrive in the merchant's account within 15 seconds.

On-Chain Send via QR

  • Scan any compatible wallet address QR code to initiate an on-chain crypto transfer.
  • Select asset and network (Ethereum, Solana, BSC, TRON, Polygon, etc.), enter amount, and confirm.
  • Transaction fees vary by blockchain network — displayed before confirmation. Settlement at blockchain speed.

P2P Payment Links & Split Bills

  • Create a payment link or QR code from Bybit Pay → Receive → Set Amount → share via Telegram, WhatsApp, or any social channel.
  • Split Bill: enter total amount and number of payers — system auto-divides and generates shareable payment links.

GENERAL QUESTIONS.

Yes — QR Pay, payment links, and Mastercard Crypto Credential are only available in the Bybit mobile app (iOS/Android). Payers must complete KYC verification and fund their Bybit Funding Account before making payments. On-Chain Send via QR also requires the app. Payment links received by non-Bybit users will prompt them to download the Bybit App before completing payment. The Bybit website supports limited Bybit Pay functionality (viewing dashboard, history) but not QR Pay.

QR Pay transactions typically complete within 15 seconds with near-instant settlement to the merchant's account via the local payment rail (InstaPay for QRPh, PIX for Brazil, etc.). On-chain Send transactions settle at blockchain confirmation speed (varies by network). Internal transfers between Bybit users are instant. For merchants integrating via the Bybit Pay partner program, settlement timelines may vary based on the local banking partner, specific SLAs are not publicly documented.

Bybit does not publicly disclose merchant-side fees for the Bybit Pay partner program, pricing is negotiated during KYB onboarding. For payers: Bybit charges no transaction fees for QR Pay; however, a 1% conversion fee applies when converting from non-USDT assets to USDT, and foreign exchange rates (including conversion costs between fiat and crypto) apply for local QR payments. PIX Pay has no fee below 2,000 USD/30 transactions per month; above that, BRL transactions incur USD 0.26 and ARS transactions USD 0.42 per subsequent transaction. Payment links and split bills have no fees.
