Wallet has NO KYC (one of the few remaining), but the CARD requires KYC through unnamed third-party providers. You're giving identity documents to companies whose names aren't public.
Self-custodial wallet + custodial card creates a custody gap. Your BTC is safe in your wallet, but borrowed cash and card spending flow through undisclosed custodial rails. Two different risk models, one product.
"Xverse cannot freeze accounts" applies to the wallet only. Your card and the borrowed cash sitting in the card account almost certainly CAN be frozen by the card issuer. The homepage's "can't freeze your account" claim doesn't extend to card operations.
"Near-zero fees" and "Up to 6% APY" are marketing language, not guarantees. Both are disclosed as variable and subject to change without specified notice periods.
