The Onboard USD Card is an extremely reliable and convenient option for everyday purchases, providing you with a seamless way to convert your stablecoin to USD. You have the flexibility to fund it through various channels, including your local bank account, your Onboard Wallet balance, or external wallets such as Binance and Coinbase.
Once funded, you can use it for transactions wherever VISA is accepted, just like a physical bank card.
Onboard Virtual Cards are valid for 3 years from when you create it in the app. You can find your card's expiry date in the 'Details' section on your Cards page.
At the moment, users are limited to creating and owning one virtual card at a time.
Yes, other people can send money to your virtual card! Each card is associated with a unique wallet address that you can share with anyone who wants to send you money. This wallet address ensures that the payment is accurately directed towards your account.
Here's how you can do it:
Select "External Wallet" as your funding method.
Add your preferred amount and choose the stablecoin that the sender will be sending.
The wallet address associated with your card will appear on the screen. Share this address with the sender and instruct them to deposit the exact amount shown.
Once they confirm the deposit is complete, click "I have made exact payment," and your account will be topped up with USD.
It's really that simple and easy!
