Virtual wavecard® costs €2.99 (charged in BTC). Physical wavecard® costs €29.99 (charged in BTC). Both are one-time fees. No monthly fees apply.
Can I withdraw cash from ATMs?
Yes, with the physical card only. ATM withdrawals cost €2 + 3.00% per transaction. Virtual cards do not support ATM withdrawals.
How does NWC Lightning spending work?
Users connect their Lightning wallet via Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) protocol. When making a card payment, Bitcoin is automatically converted to EUR at point-of-sale with a 1% conversion fee. This allows spending directly from self-custodial Lightning wallets without moving funds to a custodial exchange first.
