How to sign up for the Shakepay Visa* Prepaid Card:
Log into your Shakepay account using the mobile app

Click on "Get Started"

Answer the questionnaire to see if you are eligible for the Shakepay Card

Once you finish the questionnaire and agree to our cardholder agreement you'll be issued your virtual Shakepay Card

Are there requirements to get a Shakepay Card?
To qualify for the Shakepay Card, you must meet the following requirements:

Have a fully verified Shakepay account

Be a Canadian resident

Only be a tax resident of Canada (and not any other country)
Do I have to have a Shakepay account to get the Shakepay Card?
Yes, in order to own a Shakepay Card, you must first have a fully verified Shakepay account. Don't have an account? Sign up!
Can I use my Shakepay Card for my business account?
No, the Shakepay Card is a prepaid consumer card linked to you as an individual.
It is linked with your personal Shakepay account only and cannot be used for or on behalf of any business.
What is the current APY / interest rate?
Your CAD balance earns interest based on your reward status:

Base: 1.5%
Bright: 2%
Blue: 3%
Business: 2%

USD interest:
Base rate: 3.5%
