How much does the card cost to issue?
There is no issuance fee. You pay the face value of the prepaid Visa Gift Card you purchase with bitcoin. For example, a $100 card costs $100 in bitcoin.
Can I withdraw cash from ATMs?
No. ATM withdrawals are explicitly prohibited on The Bitcoin Company Visa Gift Cards. The cards also cannot be used at ATMs for cash advances.
What card networks does this card support?
The prepaid Visa Gift Cards run on the Visa network and are usable anywhere Visa debit is accepted in the United States and District of Columbia. Card-Linked Offers support Visa, Mastercard, and Amex (linked bank cards).
How do I fund my card?
You send bitcoin (on-chain or via Lightning Network) to fund your The Bitcoin Company account, then use the balance to purchase prepaid Visa Gift Cards at face value. The bitcoin is converted at the current exchange rate at time of purchase.
